- Technical data (IP address, browser type, device, pages visited) via standard server logs and analytics.

- Send capability statements, validation documents, or other materials you request.
- Operate, secure, and improve our websites.
- Comply with legal and professional obligations.
- Maintain records of professional engagements where required.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use enquiry data for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis or your consent.
4. Legal bases
Where applicable (including under GDPR and similar frameworks), we process data on the basis of: legitimate interests in responding to professional enquiries and operating our practice; performance of pre-contractual steps at your request; consent where you have given it; and legal obligation where required.
5. Sharing
We may share information with trusted processors who support email delivery, hosting, analytics, or file storage, under appropriate agreements. We may share with Altamont Group entities where needed to respond to your request. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
6. International transfers
Altamont operates across multiple jurisdictions (including Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and other locations where we deliver work). Where data is transferred internationally, we take appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
7. Retention
Enquiry and diagnostic materials are retained only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable professional record-keeping, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer period is required by law or an active engagement. You may request deletion of diagnostic sample files after the response cycle.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we work to reduce risk and respond promptly to incidents.
